Email

An inbox that ranks itself

The two people waiting on you, not the thirteen who emailed.

An inbox is a list of other people’s open loops, sorted by when they hit send. Arden ranks it by whether anything is actually waiting on you, and says why each one is: a date named, a promise referenced, a person you owe.

  • Gmail
  • Arden memory

You say

“What needs me in my inbox?”

Arden handles it

Needs you

Two emails

Each with the reason

Everything else

Eleven emails

Nothing needs you

How it works

  1. 01

Arden classifies what arrives against what it knows: who is waiting on you, what you promised, which threads matter.

  2. 02

Each email that needs you says why: a date named, a promise referenced, a person you owe.

  3. 03

The rest is compressed into one line, so an empty morning actually looks empty.

Things to say

You say

“What needs me in my inbox?”

You say

“Anything from Northline I should see before the call?”

You say

“Did anyone reply about the round?”

Good for

  • Mornings that start with forty unread
  • Catching the email that names a deadline
  • Not living inside your inbox
  • Knowing nothing is quietly on fire

Hand this to Arden.
